Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Christopher Y — 20 Jan 2009
Here director Capra shows a family that tries to live their life with less of the spoils of success that comes with selling a bit of your soul. The grandfather is really the force in the household and is a benevolent one but he doesn't mind telling others how to run away from their miserable lives and live like he does.
A bit heavy handed this still is a rewarding and ulitimately joyous.
