Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Kate C — 10 May 2009
This is the perfect movie to watch the day the spring semester ends of my first year in the PhD program... my eye has finally stopped twitching, my apartment is a mess, and I need to crawl out from the academic hole I've been living in the past few months and get a haircut and manicure!
This movie is all about living life to the fullest... taking a step back from work and "real life" to imagine what it would be like to color outside the lines for a bit. I hope that when I grow up and "settle down" I have a house full of family and friends and supportive craziness like this...
