Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Shannon N — 12 Apr 2008
I've never seen a bad Frank Capra Film, and I've seen a lot of them. This one doesn't break the mold at all. James Stewart is, as always, a great asset to the film but a bit more complex in this role, it's very good.
The lovely Jean Arthur pulls off this character with flying colors, though again, a bit different, not such a smart-mouth this time. I just have to say again how great this film and I recommend it to anyone who loves Frank Capra and the way he pulls off the screwball comedy.
