Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Blair K — 28 Sep 2009
Kind of like "It's A Wonderful Life, Part I." with most of the same cast too... Jimmy Stewart plays... well, the Jimmy Stewart Character, and Edward Arnold is pretty good too... however, the dancing girl is such a wretched character that I couldn't help hoping she'd fall on her face.
.. I know it's mean, but she did not need to be there... a huge distraction from the always brilliantly solid acting of Lionel Barrymore.
