I dread these visits. First, I have to wake up early. When you don't sleep until 5-6 am, waking up early is really, really tough. Then you start your day off with an hour of drilling, bloody gums, and lots of pain. This time, I actually got some good news afterwards, the dentist told me it was a lot better than my last visit. At the end of my previous visits, my dentist would go thru the same routine - she would stare at me disappointingly, sigh, and say, "...but you're still young.".

Now on to the movies.

Jackass is not really a movie, just a bunch of gross, weird, bizarre, and torturous stunts. If you really want to see a guy crap on his pants or intentionally get paper cuts inbetween his fingers or other similiar stunts, then this is the movie for you. Why the hell did I watch it? Cuz it was a huge hit ($64 mil at the box office), and I wanted to see what the big deal is. If I only knew that crapping on my pants could get me $64 mil bucks ...

A Man Apart is an ok revenge flick. For an action movie, there's not enough destruction and mayhem. Vin Diesel is decent and believable in this kind of role, except some of his line readings are noticably bad in this movie. At the end of movie, my reaction was "Where are the explosions?".

You Can Count on Me is a great family drama about two grown siblings. One is a divorced mom trying to raise a little boy in a small town. The other is a drifter who has a knack for getting into trouble. Put the two together, and you end up with a great drama. It also has very subtle humor.
