Review of You Can Count on Me (2000) by Gordon S — 14 Aug 2010
Great Kenneth Lonergan family drama about single motherhood and the different (not necessarily wrong) paths we choose for our lives. Linney has been in a string of these family dramas (also see THE SQUID AND THE WHALE) and has been excellent in all of them, but especially here; and Mark Ruffalo embodies the restless intellectual drifter (in earlier times, he could have been a Kerouac).
