Review of Yonkers Joe (2008) by Silvio D — 06 Dec 2008

I just want to start off with the names, Chazz Palminteri, Michael Lerner and Christine Lahti. All three are oscar nominated actors. Now the names Tom Guiry, Michael Rispoli and Linus Roache all three are awesome actors.

Put them in a room together with writer/director Robert Celestino and you have cinematic gold. Well, that is exactly what I saw when I went to see Yonkers Joe at the Tribeca Film Festival. The movie is about a card and dice hustler who takes on the biggest responsibility of his life.

I not going to spoil it for anyone all I could say is it's a must see.
