Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Shawn B — 23 Mar 2008
Akira Kurosawa is a director with no equal. Kurosawa led Japanese cinema and his influence on Hollwood is very deep in the western genre and later directors. Toshiro Mifune is wonderful, his presence is all encompasing and humourous without seeming to try.
