Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Chris D — 12 Apr 2008

I found the plot progression to be somewhat dull in some parts of the film, but Kurosawa does offer a very compelling story, a strong heroic central character in Yojimbo that the audience can actually get behind, and awesome cinematography.

You will enjoy this film even more if you love Westerns since it plays out like one, only in faithful Kurosawa samurai fashion.
