Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Hïro I — 05 May 2008
Another Kurosawa flick that inspired some of the greatest films to date. The Sergio Leone, "Man With No Name" concept wouldn't exist if it weren't for this movie. This genre is starting to become forgotten by today's teenage generation, which is a shame because I'd recommend this flick to anyone interested in cinema.
Also, something of note: ToshirÅ? Mifune's performance in this flick is highly reminiscent of the style of acting Benecio Del Toro employs today, just something to watch for.
