Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Codie E — 09 Oct 2008
Another slightly overrated film from Kurosawa. As with the majority of his output, I don't think he finds a nice balance between story, style, humour and language (which may be something in the translation).
That being said, taken critically and watched in a detached fashion the man still makes exciting cinema.
