Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Adam G — 11 Oct 2008
The narrative is incoherent at times and the plot has a tendency to meander. So why is it my favourite Kurosawa film? well, its a perfect blending of Kurosawa's favourite themes, and it has probably one of the most unconventional Samurai's you will ever see.
..and then there is Toshiro Mifune. If you haven't seen this man in action, prepared to be blown away.
