Allthough its got a startling atmospheric style, and messmerising actors. yojimbo is fairly hard going. you need too give your self into it, only then can you fully apriciate its wonder. its funny but remains dark and moody throughout.
if you have seen the spagehtie westerns and are aware that "a fist full of dollars" was a remake. you will be looking out for obvious lifts from it. the action and violence is brilliant and it stands as a true classic.
