Sanjuro was good but this one that came before it was excellent. Toshiro Mifune is one of the greatest actors and everything that he and Kurosawa have done together are always good. Without this, we wouldn't see the masterpiece that would eventually evolve from A fistful of Dollars.
Thank you Kurosawa for making a memorable and great film. I don't know how Seven Samurai is but I still need to see that. For now, this is a great film and I highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of Kurosawa.
