After seeing Rashomon (my 1st Akira Kurosawa film), I expected an exhilarating story told with vigor and visual flair, but what I didn't expect was for it to be so much fun! Toshiro Mifune's stellar performance in front of the camera elevates Kurosawa's work behind it.
