Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Cody Y — 29 Jul 2012
This is a superb movie about a samurai who wanders into a town torn apart by rival gangs, and begins manipulating the two in a destructive nature. I can't go on reviewing this movie without mentioning how spectacularly written, choreographed, and composed this movie is.
This is one of Kurosawa's many masterpieces and Sanjuro, the samurai character, is one of the most underrated movie heroes in cinematic history.
