Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Beau D — 29 Aug 2012
There are few things more amazing than Toshiro Mifune and Kurosawa together in the same film. Mifune's ronin is wonderfully rugged, while Kurosawa's the cinematography's throwbacks to Western films have the audience really feeling that we are watching a cowboy film set in Medieval Japan.
Amazing stuff.
