Another Kurosawa classic. Mifune is fantastic as the bodyguard who isn't completely loyal to either dishonourable side in a village dispute. Clearly, this was the inspiration for A Fistful of Dollars as it plays out in similar fashion.
Still like Eastwood better but this is something else.
