Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Carlos R — 23 Mar 2011
The first half is incredibly slow and quite boring, but the second half is amazing, a fantastic thriller, full of excitement and intrigue, and some good action too. The whole film is perfectly directed, but the problem of the movie was the lack of a better character developement, except the main character that was very well portrayed, and played.
As a whole it was very satisfying, but it could have been much better, there were some little things that should have been different, like the score for example which was dreadful and annoying and completely inappropiate for a film, of any kind.
