Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Matt M — 02 Dec 2012

Thanks to netflix I can finally watch Akira Kurosawa films. I have been meaning to catch Yojimbo for some time now, and I was not disappointed. This film is amazingly influential, and has inspired filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino, and George Lucas.

The acting is fantastic, and the setting is used wonderfully. I loved the way the Samurai played each side against one another, and the sword fights were very well done. This is a must see film for anyone who has any interest in cinema.
