This is a kids movie made for kids. and kids enjoyed it. I am getting sick of adults expecting all kids movies to be the next 'shrek', with that perfect mix of adult humour and kiddy entertainment.
Face it, adults, not all movies are for you, take a 6 year old to the cinema and get over it.
