Review of Yogi Bear (2010) by Tim T — 24 Jul 2011
I'm actually going to rate this two different ways. For adults, even at only 82 minutes, I was kinda waiting for it to end. Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake are fine doing the voices of the two bears but the live actors are are dumb and boring.
Tom Cavanagh as ranger Smith could have been cast better. The special effects are decent through most of the movie but noticed some really bad blue screening toward the end. I really liked the turtle and think he should have his own movie.
Just kidding. For kids, it's a 3 start movie as they will enjoy it. I'll stick to the original Hannah Barbera classic cartoon instead. Warner Brothers, if you read this review, please no sequel.
