Review of Yogi Bear (2010) by Rick C — 29 Aug 2011
Some of the best 3D I've seen. Objects actually popped out or hovered in front of my TV screen. The trees were amazing. The vistas were inspiring. Projectiles often caused me to duck too. That is something I have not seen in most of the other 3D films that I've watched.
While the story was not very inspired I did think that it was often very funny despite the terrible reviews that said it wasn't funny at all. Yogi and Boo Boo came alive for me. I prefer the modern CGI over the pen and ink.
There was lots of action, pratfalls and stunts. The humor was family friendly. I enjoyed it a lot more than most, I guess. I was glad to have watched and it made me laugh a lot.
