Well, it happened. Kevin Smith finally made a truly BAD movie. I'm a fan of the majority of his filmography. I'll go with the consensus that 'Jersey Girl,' 'Cop Out,' and 'Tusk,' represent the low points, but all of those movies are at least watchable.

.. diverting if not entertaining. 'Tusk,' in particular, made the most of it's arbitrary, strange horror premise. It's not half the horror picture his vastly under-rated 'Red State,' is, but it is worth watching.

'Yoga Hosers,' is NOT worth watching. I liked the female leads' performances OK. Depp somehow makes his Guy LaPointe character (a memorable part of 'Tusk') boring to watch. The plot is senseless.

Maybe three jokes out of twenty land, and those are cheapest. The music is bad. The editing is bad. The whole experience is bad. Smith's batting average is still solid... but I feel better about his 'Mallrats' sequal TV series than his next feature, 'Moose Jaws.
