Silly Japanese actioneer about a martial-arts street hoodlum who is recruited by the police to go undercover as a student in uncovering a cyber-terrorism conspiracy, and her secret weapon happens to be.

..a metal yo-yo. Only brilliant in short spurts and by that I mean action, there were a lot more moments of drawn-out dialogue and character development than I was expecting for a film that promised such B-movie caliber on the cover.

But I can't say I was disappointed neither by watching a diminutive, foul-mouthed Japanese girl wipe the floor with a bunch of pretty boys. "Yo-Yo Girl Cop" delivers, although it's nothing too outstanding, yet it's sufficient for a slow evening.
