Review of Yi Yi (2000) by Jeff B — 26 Feb 2008
I really enjoyed this film. It's a little slow at the beginning but turns in to a beautiful little film complete with wonderful, layered, symbolic shots, parallelism, and lots of heart. It's a great starting point for anyone who wants to dive deeper into the world of film and understand the power it can have.
Plus that little boy is the most adorable thing ever :).
