Interesting. Sorrowful and melancholic with some very touching performances. I still feel a distinct barrier whenever I watch a film from Asia, more so than any of the other forgien films I watch, and it gets in the way of my enjoyment and ability to focus entirely on the film.
Maybe once I get more comfortable with Korean/Japanese/Chinese/Taiwanese etc. films I will revisit this one.
