What an achievement this picture is. there are moments within this film that made me emotional, based solely on how beautifuly crafted they are (the scene where the movie on evolution with yang yang to name just 1).
God I love eastern cinema!!! yi yi is an out and out masterpiece beginning to end. to bad edward yang had to die so young, he was a brilliant auteur, but I guess this film will/should solidify his legacy, and rightfully so.
