Review of Yes Man (2008) by Stuart D — 18 Oct 2014
For a lot of people, Jim Carrey is a lot like marmite: you either love it or you hate it.
In this feel-good movie, supposedly based on a 2005 biography by British humorist Danny Wallace (thanks IMDB!), he plays a man who has to say 'yes' to every opportunity that comes his way.
I found this to be actually quite enjoyable: it did even make me laugh out loud a couple of times, but I still find Zooey Deschanel (Carrey's co-star) to be as annoying as ever.
