Review of Yentl (1983) by Lisa K — 22 Feb 2009
WHAT THE FUCK!? This is one of the worst musicals I have ever seen... omg so much to hate. This could've really been eons better if: A: Yentl wasn't actually wearing loads of eye makeup B: the songs were lyrically stronger C: She actually made an attempt to use an accent D.
The music actually made sense with the film...... I could go on and on... ugh I have been wanting to see this movie forever, and now I'm so disappointed that I did. The story is so strong.... I just really thought she missed the mark here.
