Review of Yellow Submarine (1968) by Paul E — 13 Jan 2008
An overlooked gem, the artists of this particular movie were DEFINATELY using their paper not just for drawing, but for rolling doobies. Plus, the Beatles provide the soundtrack, if not their own voices.
Apparently, they were against this project from the start, and only agreed to release their songs to get out of their movie deal. However, upon viewing this movie for the first time, they were so impressed that they agreed to appear in person at the end.
Thats just a testament to the movie itself.
