Review of Year One (2009) by Cork B — 24 Sep 2018
This is a movie that knew exactly what it wanted to be and accomplished it. It did not pretend to be something else and it did not shoot for the moon. It was humble, full of heart, and actually one of the most accurate period pieces despite all of the tongue-in-cheek-in-your-face biblical references.
Wonderful acting, accurate set design. And, once again, full of heart.
