One of Mickey Rourke's best films, a good plot and great acting... this was a movie that was ahead of it's time. Rourke was looked over for his talent and incredible acting performance in this role, for the same reason Eric Roberts was overlooked for his role in Pope of Greenwich Village --- Hollywood politics, that's it.
