Some pretty well tread Mike White territory. The Good Girl is a better film, but Molly Shannon deserves this sort of film rather than some wacky comedy. Some great human moments like when Peter Sarsgaard in tears.
I still recommend The Good Girl over this though, it just manages darker themes better than this.
