Review of Year of the Dog (2007) by David O — 05 Jul 2008
I really wanted to like it... I really wanted to laugh... but it was one of the most disappointing movies yet. I even love most everything Molly Shannon is in, but there is nothing saving this flick. She ends up totally devoting her life to saving animals and supporting PETA, mostly because there is nothing else going on in any facet of her life.
It's easy to see how this could really happen to someone, but I would never want to see a movie about it.
