Review of Year of the Dog (2007) by Kathryn B — 14 Aug 2008
I thought this would be good, but it was such a sad and droll movie. I'm not quite sure what the pay-off in watching this is. Peter Sarsgaard is very good, but I still don't really enjoy the character that he's playing.
Molly Shannon is just fine, as is the rest of the cast. Bits of "somewhat funny" here and there, but on the whole, just depressing.
