Review of Year of the Dog (2007) by Matt — 29 Jun 2009

Year of the Dog started out like your typical slightly independent romantic comedy. At that point I was enjoying the movie, but then several things didn't happen. First the plot was paper thin if there even was one, second there was not a climax of any type the enitre movie had one very slow and annoying tone, and third the story sucks, there is no reason why anybody would be interested in this story.

Molly Shannon did okay but, at the same time she could have done if her character was given more depth and an arch to follow so we can notice the change. All in all this movie blew chunks.
