The actual storyline is just the usual sanitized, sentimenal hogwash you expect from a classical Hollywood biopic, but nothing beats the electrifying Cagney singing and dancing (like an out of control marionette) to the classic songs of George M.
Cohan. A must-watch film for the 4th of July.
