One of cagney's best. snappy, clever, resourceful and resilient. he did cohan proud. sure it was campy, sentimental and schmultzy, but so what. I appreciate a film that doesn't have to expose the worm wood of a person to be a good film.
like attending a patriotic revival meeting.
