Review of Yakona (2014) by Joshua D — 28 Oct 2014
A beautiful film that pushes the boundaries of what a nature, history, and political documentary can be. The lack of clear narration may be challenging for some, but its confident visual aesthetic and soundtrack speak for themselves.
You can feel the passion of the filmmakers for both the film itself and San Marcos area from beginning to end.
