Review of Y Tu Mamá También (2001) by Kristin K — 04 Aug 2008
Nothing particularly new in this film, but it was an interesting twist on the usual Hollywood tosh. The humour is more subtle and the story is more rounded than its American counterparts showing the sexuality in less of an "oo-er mrs" fashion.
I would have liked to see more exploration of the relationships between the main characters as their reactions at times seemed a little unrealistic, i.e. when the boys find out about each others midemeanors with each others girlfriends.
