Review of XXY (2007) by Cheryl C — 17 Jan 2011
A heart-wrenching, well done exploration of the adolescent challenges of an intersexed teen. Not earth-shattering, but I'm glad this movie was made because it poses a lot of fascinating questions. The relationship between Alex and her father is especially affecting.
As a bonus, the music is lovely.
