Review of xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017) by Scott H — 23 Jan 2017
Laughably bad, it can't even develop a villain effective while changing who it is randomly and every 20 minutes or so. The action sequences ultimately don't progress the plot and it all plays out looking like a way for Vin Diesel to communicate he isn't old and is muscular while filming every female with the male gaze in mind.
Its female characters serve no purpose and it's use of a McGuffin is particularly laughable.
