Honestly this is pretty terrible. Bad writing, bad acting, terrible 3D, bad effects, too much machismo and too many 'hot babes' only there for scenery for horny 12-year-old boys. Toni Collette puts forward just about the worst performance I've ever seen on screen.

But there's just enough absurd fun that you leave the theater having had a good time spending half your time rolling your eyes and laughing at its terribleness and the other half enjoying some of the action.

Everything is totally implausible but that's just Diesel's style, and so you almost convince yourself all the terrible stuff was on purpose as a joke.
