Review of XXX! (2011) by Jesse O — 27 Mar 2011
Meh, this movie was on its way to being about the same quality as The Transporter, but it just fell apart in the last 30 minutes or so. As far as over the top action goes, this movie is second to none.
I've never seen such a loud movie. But it's just OK I guess, nothing really all that revolutionary, though in some weird and strange way, this movie has, in a very small degree, made me look forward to the new xXx with Vin Diesel returning.
It's strange. Anyway yea, I don't have a lot to say about this movie. I thought, mostly, it was just an inconsistently paced movie. At times I thought it was pretty good, at times I thought it was bad.
It just never seems to find its rhythm. But I did laugh at some of the lines Vin Diesel had. I didn't hate the movie, really, it's just not very consistent and it falls apart at the end. So I guess you gotta take the good with the bad.
