Review of xXx (2002) by Em G — 13 Jul 2010
XXX brings to the spy genre what Poochy brought to Itchy and Scratchy. Its an utterly contrived attempt at being modern and cool that misses the mark so far it almost makes The Fast and The Furious look good.
Vin Diesel can presumably never fall further from the heights of Pitch Black than he has with XXX. A handful of quality stunts saves this film from being total dirt like Catwoman, but even so they are reduced to bad comedy by their build up and the incessant replays.
A shitfox of a film.
