Review of XX (2017) by Fromkanga — 26 Aug 2017

XX was a big waste of time, this is one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen, I hated almost every aspect of this movie, I do must admit that I'm not a fan of anthology horror films but this is by far the worst I've seen.

The four stories don't make any sense, the characters were all dull and dumb and some of their actions confused me, the stories barely have any sort of conclusion but the worst thing of all is that the stories were boring. This movie fails so much at being a horror movie or at the very least an entertaining one, I don't mind a terrible horror film as long as I'm entertained but the movie couldn't even do that.

Now I'm judging this as a movie and I'm not going to give this movie a good review because we rarely see a woman directing horror movies, women are capable of making smart and well made horror films (raw is an example) and the entire point of this film existing is that it’s supposed to prove that women are capable of directing horror film ?

I mean it’s not a bad idea, I like the intention but I just wanted a good or at least entertaining movie, the good intention doesn’t make the quality of the film any better.

I hated this movie, I hate it because the stories were boring and uncomprehensible and I can’t recommenf this film to anyone, it’s the worst film I’ve seen this year for now and I think it will remain as my least favorite movie of 2017.
