Review of Xtro (1982) by Markus K — 21 Aug 2009
Gritty scifi horror flick that in some ways reminds me of Basket Case. Not as smooth, but same feeling (thanks to almost zero budget). Night Scenes are creepy and I hope that there would have been more of those, but effects are first to be scaled down when budget is small.
Those living toys were weird though, that midget-clown thing especially. Movie dragged in middle little bit, but got better towards the end. And that un-E.T ending was great!
Nice little gem from 80's. Not one of the best, but not worst either.
