I am shocked beyond belief that there are people who defend this movie and say it is genuinely good. It is hilariously badly good, yes, but people actually are inspired by this! The music is unspectacular, the sets are cheap and gaudy.
The dance number with Gene Kelly and Olivia Newton-John is easily the highlight of the movie, and actually worth seeing. Oh, and the ending drags on and on and on. Olivia Newton John in a cowboy outfit singing twangy country? It happens.
