I cut classes to see this movie. That was when Marcos was President. I was only 11 or twelve then and I thought this was the most amazing fantasy love story I ever saw. That was then. I saw the movie again recently and it didn't captivate me in the same way but the memories of a young heart that sang along with Olivia Newton John when she belted out: Xanadoooo.
. Xanadoooohhooohhoooohhh... will always bring a warm fuzzy feeling all over.
